Bear Valley Install is a local contractor in Utah’s mountain valley region, known for tile work, flooring, and custom installs. They serve both homes and small businesses with a personal, hands-on approach. I created a rustic yet modern logo system that reflects the craftsmanship and honesty at the heart of their work, while nodding to the natural beauty of their surroundings. The brand identity blends natural textures with clean geometry to convey reliability and warmth. Supporting assets included a full brand guide, mockups, and imagery direction to help the business present itself with clarity and confidence.

Initially started with three drafts. Focused on merging organic textures with structured forms to capture the company’s hands-on approach and mountain roots. Designed an emblem that integrates a bear illustration, log-inspired elements, and tile line work. All while keeping the overall aesthetic clean and versatile for future use across digital and print platforms.

The client wanted a clean logo that still showed what the company does. I focused on the bear to reflect the Bear Valley area and added elements like a saw and tile pattern. After reviewing three concepts, the client chose a version with a bear in a saw shape and asked for tile details and updated typography.
[ The Chosen One ]
The final logo was approved with enthusiasm, especially for its vintage-inspired typography and the added tile symbol that ties directly to the trade. From there, I developed a complete brand guide that unified the color palette, layout system, and typography into one cohesive and functional identity.
